As downstream smart electronic products, mobile terminals and other products develop towards portability and miniaturization, electronic components such as quartz crystal oscillators need to adapt to the process requirements of their miniaturization development. At the same time, with the development of 5G and WiFi6, high-capacity and high-speed transmission require the circuit baseband to continue to increase. As electronic products have increasing requirements for crystal oscillator accuracy, the demand for high-end crystal oscillators such as TCXO, VCXO, and OXCO has expanded. From the perspective of application areas, according to Taiwan Crystal Technology data, automobiles have become the main driving force for the growth of crystal oscillator demand, with a CAGR of 30% from 21 to 24 years. With the development trend of intelligent and networked automobiles, crystal oscillator applications cover multiple fields such as GPS, vehicle-mounted cameras, radars, and ADAS. Each new energy vehicle requires about 100-150 crystal oscillators, which is double the number of 30-40 per vehicle equipped with traditional economy cars.
