Susquehanna International added that the FPGA shortage will affect network, optical and telecommunications equipment. The bottleneck caused by chip supply has had a negative impact on companies in various industries, such as Toyota Motors and Apple. These companies have even reduced their revenue by billions of dollars due to the inability to obtain enough chips to meet product demand. According to Gartner's forecast, semiconductor sales will increase by 13% in 2022, but there are uncertainties in the semiconductor market due to the downturn in personal computers and smartphones and expectations of a recession.
